Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords was released in 2004, one year after the release of the original game, Knights of the Old Republic. It received positive reviews after it’s release although the game was left unfinished as LucasArts forced the developers, Obsidian, to finish the game within 16 months. This unfortunately meant that not only where there many bugs but that large sections of the content had to be cut from the game.
Star Wars fans got together and released a mod for KOTOR 2 called the Restored Content Mod. It cleared up around 500 bugs and added much more content. The walkthrough above assumes you have the Restored Content mod for KOTOR 2 installed.

Wielding double-bladed lightsabers, Shadows embrace the synergy between melee and Force combat, enabling them to strike down enemies of the Order with deadly efficiency.

Selecting the Shadow class will lock your character into this advance Jedi Consular class for the rest of the game. The Shadow advanced class fulfills the role of melee DPS; The Shadow is capable of wearing light armors, and the advanced class is distinguished by the ability to wield a double-bladed lightsaber. The most important ability for the Jedi Shadow is Willpower.

- Kinetic Combat - Uses the double-bladed Lightsaber defensively to protect the Shadow and his allies.
- Infiltration - Masters of stealth, these Shadows use positional attacks and surprise to defeat foes.
- Serenity - Enhances the Shadow's Force attacks and augments the Shadow's Force and Lightsaber abilities.
